He started singing at the age of 12 and hasn't stopped since. High school is where Ishmon got his first taste of theatre. The first role he performed was as part of the ensemble for Beauty and the Beast. He later landed the role of Javert in his high school’s performance of Les Miserables. After finishing high school and many show choir performances, he decided to continue his studies in the arts by joining Bravo! at Fullerton College as well as performing in various shows at Fullerton Community College were directed by Gary Krinke. He has now moved on to performing in professional theatre, performing in roles such as Benny in Rent, Teen Angel in Grease, and Mitch Mahoney in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Ishmon recently finished a contract with Royal Caribbean cruising and singing aboard the beautiful Majesty of the Seas. It’s never too early; never too late. Be Bold!”
